As always when working with the online store, the first step is

end of that line. Then click on 'Edit'.

Near the bottom of the page, you can see the current status of the order (circled in green on the image).
There are three or four possibilities depending on your store's setup:
- Pending
- Paypal IPN* (not included in the standard setup)
- Processing
- Delivered
Pending means that the order has been placed by the customer but no action has yet been taken by the store administrator.
Processing means that the store administrator is preparing the order and getting ready to mail it out.
Delivered means the order has been completed and mailed or picked up. Depending on shipping used, it may take a few
days from the time the order is marked delivered to the time the customer receives the order.
*If your store has a status called PayPal IPN, that means that an order has been placed and
the PayPal payment hasn't come through yet. Once the payment has been received from PayPal, the status will automatically
update to 'Pending'.
To update the order status, use the drop down box at the bottom of this page to select the new status. You may choose to add
comments in the comment box if you wish. Then click on the 'update' button next to the drop down box. if the 'notify
customer' box is checked, an e-mail will be sent to the customer notifying him or her of this order status change.
