Help Center: How do I manage my Coppermine Photo Gallery?

Add a Coppermine gallery to your site to show off your photos or artwork. You may log into your
gallery from any computer connected to the internet,
allowing you to maintain your photo gallery when and how you want to. Your Coppermine gallery is customized
to match your website design. Here are the basics on how to use it:
Where to Start
To begin, point your browser to the gallery link we have given you.
Click on the 'login' link, and enter the username and password we
will have given you in the spaces provided, and click on "login".

How do I create a new album?
- Click on 'Albums' in the menu.
- Click on 'New'.
- Where 'New Album' appears in the text box, use your cursor to select the text and type your new album name.
- Then click on 'Apply Modifications' at the bottom.

How do I add new photos?
To add photos:
- Click on 'Upload file'.
- Use the 'browse' button to locate a file on your computer you want to upload. You may add up to five photos at once.
- Once you have added the photos you want to add with the browse button, click on 'continue'.
- You will see a screen that tells you how many files were successfully uploaded. Click on 'continue'.
- The photos you uploaded will appear one by one and you will need to select an album from the dropdown list to put them
into. If you want to type a file title (caption) and/or description, you can, but it is not required. Keywords may make
your page easier to find from internet searches, but are not required either. Once you are done, click on 'continue'.
- If you added more than one photo, you will see the next photo come up and you will need to put it in an album and click
continue.
- Once you have added all the photos, you will see a confirmation that they have been added. Click 'continue'.
- Repeat the process if you wish to add more photos.

How do I add captions to photos that are already uploaded?
- Be sure you are logged in as admin.
- Click on the photo to which you wish to add a caption.
- Click on the 'edit file information' button.
- Type your caption in the 'Title' field.
- Click on 'apply modifications'.
