Help Center: Troubleshooting Tips
How do I add extra spaces between lines?
In bulleted lists, use Shift-Enter twice to add extra line spaces that will show up on the
live version of the page.
I can't change the text color.
If the color of text continues past where you want it too on the live version of your webpage,
- Select the text that should be a different color
- Select the text color tool
and assign it the right color.
My bulleted or numbered lists aren't working correctly.
If your bulleted or numbered lists are not behaving as you expect them to, try typing your
list outside of the paragraph in which you want it, and then select your list, and copy
and paste it where you want it.
How do I change the background color in table cells?
Insert your table, and right-click in the cell whose color you want to change. Click on
'cell properties'. Click on the 'Select' button next to 'Background Color' and select the
color you want from the choices, or if you know the hexadecimal number, type it in the
empty box next to 'Background Color'.

When I try to align a paragraph, all the paragraphs are re-aligned.
If you want some paragraphs aligned differently than others, use the paragraph alignment tools as usual: ,
click on 'Update' and then go into the source code for the same page, and add a </p>
tag at the end of the paragraph where you want the first alignment to stop. You should then
be able to go back to the editor and align the following paragraphs differently.
My links aren't working. Why not?
See How do I know the name of the page I want to link to? for
basic information on links.
I read the basic information, but my link is still not working. Why not?
Your site may be organized into different folders, just as you can organize the files on your
computer into different folders. To find out how to type your links if this is the case,
follow the steps above.
If you are linking from a different section than the one the linked page is in, look under
"URL for Web Editor to link to this page from a different section" and type the link as
shown. (If your Link Reference page does not have this category, that means your site does
not use different folders.)

|
However, if you are linking from the home page to a page in another folder, you don't
need the "../" before the link.

How do I make text wrap around an image?
After inserting your image, right-click on it and choose "Image Properties" from the
menu that appears. Click on the arrow next to the blank box under "Align". Choose 'left'
or 'right' to indicate the side of the screen you want your image to appear on, and the
text will wrap around it.
Once you have finished, click on "OK" and your image will appear in the editor with
these changes. Don’t forget to click on “Update webpage” at the bottom of that screen,
so that your changes will be made on the real page.
